Easter basket fillers for toddler boys and girls

Easter is just a few weeks away. I love this season because the joy of spring is just around the corner and the gloomy winter is finally ending. As a food allergy mom, I like to use this opportunity to give J a few extra special treats that he wouldn’t otherwise get to have + find cute toys and books that J can use throughout the Spring. Shop my collections of easter basket stuffers for toddlers below!

Easter Basket Filler Books for Toddlers & Preschoolers

  1. It’s Not Easy Being a Bunny - by Marilyn Sadler; one of the PJ Funny Bunny books that were a staple during my childhood

  2. Five Minutes Peace - by Jill Murphy; this is a cute collection that tells the tale of a Mrs. Large and her elephant family. Another one of my childhood staples with a cover that fits the Easter theme well.

  3. Ollie’s Easter Eggs - by Oliver Dunrea; a Gossie & Friend’s book. My favorite Easter board book!

  4. Pick a Perfect Egg - by Patricia Toht; a wonderful chance to learn about the tradition of dying Easter eggs plus a soothing rhythmic read

  5. I am a Bunny - by Richard Scary; another board book and family favorite that we read year round. My son loves the parts about chasing the butterflies and the frogs.

  6. Little Chick Finger Puppet Book - we have a whole collection of these, and the hippity hoppity bunny puppet book is pretty cute, too.

Art Themed Easter Basket Stuffers for Toddlers

  1. Glitter Egg Chalk - it’s easy for little hands to hold the egg shape + the glitter is really fun.

  2. Big Bright Brush Markers - designed just for toddler hands

  3. Pearl Crayons - so pretty!

  4. Chunkies Paint Sticks - these need less supervision than regular paint, but I still recommend you supervise!

  5. Toddler’s First Coloring Book - nice paper that will work for the paint sticks and the crayons with simple, easy to color images.

  6. Triangle Grip Stampers - Can be used with play dough or with ink; J loves his!

Allergy Friendly (Dairy Free, Soy Free, Nut Free, Oat Free) Easter Chocolates for Toddler Easter Baskets

  1. Jake the Chocolate Bunny - No Whey foods is a fan favorite in our house because the chocolate is gluten, dairy, nut, soy, and oat free. It’s more difficult to find oat-free chocolate than you’d think!

  2. Surprise Eggs - plastic eggs filled with cute easter themed chocolates. Another favorite from No Whey Foods!

  3. Yum Earth Bunny Gummies - I like to open these and fill the plastic eggs for the easter hunt!

  4. Vegan Easter Cookie Decorating Kit - a mini kit that includes just enough to have a fun treat

  5. Tiny Chocolate Candies in a Bunny Tin - If you have siblings that can eat regular candy, this is a great option for your food allergy child because they look similar to the ones that come from the store but without the allergens!

  6. White Chocolate Bunny - another No Why Foods find. Gluten, dairy, nut, soy, oat free white chocolate means it’s delicious with a lot less mess. This is my pick this year!

Easter Basket Fillers for Toddler Boys and Toddler Girls

  1. Fubbles - these bubbles are great because they are very difficult to spill, so they need less supervision!

  2. Babiators - these come in many colors, but we have the rainbow ones. J loves them and they are going 1.5 years strong without breaking

  3. Green Bug Bog Rainboots - they also come in ladybug style for little ladies; great for splashing all spring long!

  4. Butterfly Garden Kit - this is so fun! If you order it before Easter, you could have the caterpillars ready to go on Easter morning. It’s really fun to watch them grow & turn into butterflies.

  5. Baby Bum Bubble Bath - for getting clean after the Easter fun is over. Tear-free, plant based, and J loves that there is a monkey on the container.

  6. Sparkling Sensory Wand - a throw back to my own childhood, I recently got one of these for J and it entertained him for quite some time!
